‘Trouble’ is the newest single from Agar Agar, an eclectic duo who haven’t released music in two years. Its an emotional journey of a track that takes you from playful and fun, through the surreal and into a dark, shifting musical landscape. Their blend of synthwave, jungle and techno is to blame for this impressive scope of style, feeling and influence. They say: “We wrote ‘Trouble’ during a period of extreme boredom.It’s a track that talks about being confined within a limited space, the need to escape those borders and the overwhelming weariness we feel when there’s no way out.” The accompanying music video tells the unique story of a video game character stuck outside of the playable area.
